About Shilajit

Shilajit is an ancient herbal substance containing a wide spectrum of minerals and trace elements the human body needs to function optimally and fulvic acid which helps the body absorb these minerals at a cellular level. Shilajit has been consumed as a dietary supplement and super food for thousands of years in India and Asia because of the many benefits it provides.

Humic acids are a group of acids that organically form in healthy soil. Fulvic acid is one of these acids which works as a natural chelator which can assist with the elimination of toxins like heavy metals through urination.

It also works to increase the absorption of essential minerals, this combined with Shilajit's potent concentration of minerals means you're not just ingesting minerals but effectively absorbing them as well.

Fulvic acid has also been used to help with gut health and has been shown to shift the ratio of bacteria in the gut, increasing the healthy bacteria by 30%.

It has been used in the traditional Ayurvedic for thousands of years for a variety of health benefits and is considered to be an important Rasayana (rejuvenator). Shilajit is a Sanskrit word meaning “rock-invincible”, “conqueror of mountains”, or “destroyer of weakness”. It is believed to be a powerful adaptogen, which balances and strengthens the body allowing it to function at an optimal level.

Our quality is premium gold grade and here’s why:

1. Sourced from: The altitude our shilajit is harvested from ranges between 16-18,000ft of the Himalayan region the highest region shilajit can be sourced from.

2. Gold Grade Shilajit: Many people are unaware that Shilajit exists in four different grades. The top-quality grade, referred to as Gold Grade, is the one known for encompassing all the legendary attributes that Shilajit is famous for. Regardless of the specific grade, the outcome of the purification process results in a resin-like substance with a dark, tar-like appearance. To distinguish between the grades, it is essential to first examine the color and the type of rock in which the raw Shilajit is naturally found prior to purification.

3. Purification method: Our Shilajit undergoes absolutely no heat processing. After being filtered and purified using traditional methods, it is naturally sun-dried. Subjecting Shilajit to heat treatment can harm the product's integrity.

4. Lab test: We have 3rd party UK lab test to showcase our purity from heavy metals.

The ideal time for Shilajit consumption is during the early morning, preferably on an empty stomach. This timing allows for maximum absorption and peak performance, providing an energy boost to support your daily activities.

While it is possible to consume Shilajit in the evening under specific circumstances, it is generally not recommended. Evening use can result in a significant energy surge, potentially disrupting your ability to have a restful night's sleep.

To prevent sleep disturbances, it's advisable to avoid taking Shilajit close to bedtime.

The ideal storage location for Shilajit is in a cool, dry, and dark place. Here are some tips on how to store Shilajit properly to maintain its quality:

  • Cool Temperature: Shilajit is sensitive to heat, so it's crucial to keep it away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Room temperature or slightly cooler is ideal.
  • Dry Environment: Moisture can affect the consistency of Shilajit. Store it in a dry place, and make sure the container is tightly sealed to prevent any moisture from getting in.
  • Dark Storage: Exposure to light can degrade the quality of Shilajit over time. Choose a storage spot that is dark or use an opaque container to shield it from light.
  • Avoid Refrigeration: While refrigeration won't necessarily harm Shilajit, it can cause the resin to become hard and difficult to work with. Storing it at room temperature is usually sufficient.
  • Keep it Clean: Ensure that the storage container and utensils used with Shilajit are clean and free from any contaminants.
